SLM Solutions: Sam O’Leary to join SLM Solutions as new COO

SLM Solutions AG announces that Sam O’Leary will join SLM Solutions Group AG’s management board as Chief Operating Officer.

As COO he will be responsible for production, product development/R&D as well as supply chain management. With the addition of Sam O’Leary, SLM gains a highly experienced manager with deep experience in the areas of the development and commercialization of additive manufacturing systems as well as the industrialization of production processes and optimization of supply chains.

Mr. O’Leary ideally complements SLM Solutions’ management board and will significantly contribute to the profound change process initiated in May 2019 by CEO Meddah Hadjar and to the overall success of the Company. Meddah Hadjar, CEO of SLM Solutions commented: “We are extremely happy for such a competent and experienced individual like Sam to join our team. Sam O’Leary joins from General Electric where he most recently was director of product development for the Concept Laser business and was responsible for the development and commercialization of all product lines. Prior to this, he served in roles at Alstom/GE and Score Group plc. Mr. O’Leary is 36 years old and a British citizen.
